whatdestroys: Okay so last weekend I went to Calexico with my ex roomie, Gibran, to cross to Mexicali to chill out and get some mexican food and go see some of his friends/family and so we did. And to make a long story short I lasted 5 hours in Mexico before being robbed of my passport, personal belongings and papers that I needed to get back across the border xD (they broke into the car) So we went to the police station and sat there for 3 hours and then we went to the border and at first they were like, without papers you’re stranded in Mexico for the next couple of months. And the guy we talked to kinda suggested that Gibran should ditch me there. So we raged and after a while we talked to another one and I got a one-time-visa that let me cross into the states which took us 4 hours. At this point it was 5 in the morning and we had nowhere to sleep so we called Adri, Gibran’s cousin, who lives in San Diego (2 hour drive) and she said we could stay at her place. So we went to walmart and bought blankets since we didn’t have any windows in the car and then we drove through the night xD guess if they looked weird at us when we got to the border checkpoint thing! It was fucking freezing!!! Then we stayed at Adri’s and got home the next day.  Woop woop!! Great weekend fo shizzle!!!! xD So far I’ve had to pay $210 for a new passport. I’m gonna have to buy a new bag and get a new visa from the immigration services (USCIS) and new earphones, and some other shit that was in the bag. Could’ve been worse I guess, I didn’t have anything extremely valuable with me.
